Could not find this anywhere on the webs, so I scratched them out here. I know it is Jazz and not Synthpop at all. Background fodder.
Intro

-Spoken: Good evening ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to the end of the world.

-I hope you’re all comfortable for this last evening’s performance of the Clerkenwell Kid

I’ll see you in my dreams (Isham Jones, 1924)

Though the days are long

Twilight sings a song

Of the happiness that used to be.

Soon my eyes will close

Soon Ill find repose

And in dreams you’re always near to me.

I’ll see you in my dreams.

Hold you in my dreams

Someone took you out of my arms

Still I feel the thrill of your charms.

Lips that once were mine

Tender eyes that shine

They will light my way tonight

I’ll see you in my dreams.

Lips that once were mine

Tender eyes that shine

They will light my way tonight

I’ll see you in my dreams.

They will light my way tonight

I’ll see you in my dreams.

-Spoken: Hello, so here we all are at the end of the world on Valentines eve.

Epitaph for a Dream

You were mine

You were mine

For all time, time, time

Found in the forest

Far from your home

Naked, abandoned, lost, alone

In the mirror of dreams

I had seen you timid

Stripped to the bone

Fur skin and feathered

I tamed you with tears

Trained you with violence

Cloaked you in blood

Changing in silence

Loved you right un-

to the end..

of.. (love?)

-Spoken: Thank you. I’ve been dreaming again.

Over the Hillsides

I kiss you and creep

Cross the floor

Through the door

And I’m gone

-Yodeling-

Through the trees where the meadow

We planted in spring has grown long

-Yodeling-

Saddle the steed

That’s tethered for me and I’m gone

You’re sleeping and dreaming

You’re reaping the seed you have sown

With kids and a house and bringing the harvest back home

And you’ll never guess

When you wake I’ll have left you alone.

- Yodeling-

I’ll go back into the stories you heard as a child

Back over the boundary where you found me running wild

And you’ll grow old

And wonder if I

Was a dream that you had once upon

A time

And you’ll grow old

And wonder if I

Was a dream that you had once upon

A time

-Spoken: Cheers. Ok, Ready?

Black Birdies Come

- Instrumental

-Spoken: Thank You. Here’s a song for the dark times ahead.

What it Takes

Have you got what it takes

To see me through these bad days

Have you got what it takes

To weather my wicked ways

Oh I

Hope I

Find that

You might

Have just what it takes

To bear me though your back breaks

Have you got what it takes

To hold on tight

Though your hand shakes

Oh I hope I find that you might

Oh I hope I find that you might

Have just what it takes

To see me through these bad days.

-Spoken: Ladies and Gentlemen, It’s my great pleasure to introduce our very own nightingale, your very own Miss Mara Carlisle.

-Spoken: Good evening Ladies and Gentlemen. There’s a bird flying high above the city. It looks down and on a station platform it sees two figures and a train about to leave.

Nightingales

A shade is dre fa

A whistle blows a train slows

You wave once more in dro again

Your lose yourself against

In twilight dreams it sweet regretfulness

And maybe you’ll forget what you’ve become.

With sad like nightingales

Or happy fits and childhood fairytales

Forever setting sail into a sun

Nightingales

Nightingales

-Spoken: Thanks Mara, Thank you.

Dreaming of you

-Spoken: So this is it ladies and gentlemen, this is the end. So yes; sweet dreams

I’ve been dreamin’ of you all the night through

And the summer sunshine found me still sleeping and dreamin’ of you

I’ve been dreamin’ of you lost in the blue

And I get the most peculiar feeling you’ve been dreaming too

You know I thought that I was falling

But I woke up just before I hit the ground

And found

I’ve been dreamin’ of you

My friends all gathered round me

Their lips moving in time

I felt that life surround me

As they were waving me goodbye

I’ve been dreamin’ of you

You know I get lost in the dreaming

I’ve been dreamin’ of you

You know I get the most peculiar feeling

That I’ve been dreamin’ of you

- Spoken: Thank you but we’re almost out of time ladies and Gentlemen It’s almost Valentines Day and who knows what surprises tomorrow might bring. Good Day.

Valentines

Well this is my Valentine to you

And I hope that it finds you out there in the blue

If you’ll be mine I’ll be your valentine

And though this ain’t just for a boy or a girl (though?)

This is a love letter to the world

Come rain or shine I’ll be your Valentine

Will you be my Valentine

Though war religion money sex death love may

One day prove the end of us

Well there’s still time shall we be valentines?

Then even if they don’t make it through

We’ll know that you once loved me and I loved you too

And the stars will shine on all those dead valentines

So will you be my valentine?

Well there’s still time you be my valentine?

-Spoken: Cheers

Outro

-Spoken: Ladies and gentlemen thank you, thank you. You have been a pleasure. And it just remains for me to say as this evening draws to a close, “Good luck and goodnight.”

I have found that younger gamers are much harder on systems. Duh! Ps2 number seven has been repaired twice for bad power jack. I just went in and replaced the failing laser with a 7 dollar one from DealExtreme. It worked quite well. In fact I grabbed another used PS2 (number that has the same failing laser problem to keep as a backup for the main ps2.

Ever since the original Playstation was released in white, I have wanted something other than black. To avoid battles over whether I get to play games or just give up to the children I purchased number Nine. It was silver and the picture on the box looked promising. Silver is closer to white.

The price went down, along with the build quality. The plastic is cheaper feeling, none of the cool ribs are built in, and the finish is like a silver krylon spray can job in someone’s greasy garage. It is hard to depress the power button since it is flush with the case material.

After all this hoonanny a pristine PS3 showed up on Craig’slist that was backwards compatible, and in the price range I would be willing to pay! So here are the current stats for my allegiance to Sony:

PS1 = 3

Pocketstation = 1

PS2 = 9 (I only paid for 6)

PS3 = 1

Ecc 5:11 As goods increase, so do those who consume them.

Proverb 1:13-14 We will get all sorts of valuable things and fill our houses with plunder; throw in your lot with us, and we will share a common purse”-

Proverbs 22:16 He who oppresses the poor to increase his wealth and he who gives gifts to the rich—both come to poverty.
Proverbs 22:3 A prudent man sees danger and takes refuge, but the simple keep going and suffer for it.
Proverbs 13:22 A good man leaves an inheritance for his children’s children
Proverbs 21:20 In the house of the wise are stores of choice food and oil, but a foolish man devours all he has.
Proverbs 13:11 Dishonest money dwindles away, but he who gathers money little by little makes it grow.
Proverbs 16:18 Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall.

NEW: Jeremiah 17:11 Like a partridge that hatches eggs it did not lay is the man who gains riches by unjust means. When his life is half gone, they will desert him, and in the end he will prove to be a fool.
