An actual news item!
An actual news item: Josh and Shauna have posted a pretty cool pictorial. I like the styles, black and whites, side shots.

Finally back from Josh and Shauna’s wedding. What a long red-eye! After going through two states of Gimmick public roads, it was really refreshing to cross into Arizona again.
New Mexico allowing double trailers is a strange sight. I guess trucks don’t need to back up anymore? Weaving and wandering is close to using the lane. Also New Mexico has these beautiful long straight sections of Interstate. No curves, no bumps… perfect for bumping the speed up a bit, right? Wrong! You get a gimmick lane called “safety corridor” where lights have to be on in the daytime and oh yeah.. Cops get double donut bucks from you for speeding. Nice black angry DPS cars with V2 or better radars abound.
Texas has this stigma about night travel. 65mph on the interstates at night. I guess they want everyone in bed by sundown? Maybe it is to protect the Armadillos? Who knows.. The black troopers in aggressively marked cars are in full force to make sure everyone gets on their hands and knees and crawls at night.
I am so glad to be home! The AZ DPS have nice white helpful looking cars even. Hang on, this one wants me to sign another pink paper. (jk)
I have been trying like mad to find this show on DVD. Anyhow, before they disappear there are some really good ones on youtube and tvinjapan right now.
Another search term besides ‘Kasou’ or ‘Taishou’ which yields results on you tube is ‘Japanese Talent’
Be sure to watch this karate board breaking one. I had passed it up because it is slow starting, but the ending pays off.
On a side note, this video makes more sense now that I understand: They are making mochi!
There is also a part of Okami where someone is hitting rice in a block with a mallet. These are easier to spot now that I know what this strange mochi type advancing about behavior is.

Taken in our front yard, you know… AZ desert. cacti where art thou? What is this white stuff? Global warming.. LOL
As part of the almost monthly reload process to keep windows XP somewhat stable, it became necessary to do an upgrade on one machine. I have been enjoying the Golden orb by thermaltake so I grabbed another. They had blue! I might read the details next time, or get out my math on what 120mm is.

Q: Where is the DVD drive? A:Did you look under the CPU fan?
The fins go over the first two DIMM slots! Good news, the memory stays cool along with the processor. Bad news, you must put the memory in first and be happy where it lays. With a little Arctic silver, my CPU and board stay around 15-30 degrees c.

Great, now I lost the mainboard. Must be under all that blue somewhere.
Is it just me who tends to neglect my own sites when I am a webmaster? Is that like the successful construction worker whose house is a big unfinished project? Anyhow, here are some of the designs that this site has gone through:
Ok, now we have seen them live. Some strange happenstance brought Apologetix to Sierra Vista from Philadelphia. I still say they owe the original artists an apology. I could not get the real songs out of my head (or throbbing ringing eardrums).
The concert was entertaining, and had nothing to do with the God I know. He was more of a casual mention with that prevalent free-love God approach. (Ask Jesus into your heart and ask him to do what YOU want).
Apologetix tries to send The Message, with one minor command left off “THOU SHALT NOT STEAL”. I did chuckle at a few of the songs.
They need to get apologetic and apologize for borrowing mainstream work.
InsideOut – Acapella does a ton of synthpop covers. Top-notch website. If you only get one of their albums to try it should be Innocence. Infosoc, Forever Young, Yaz – Only you. Oh yeah, I will stick with them. (Also not for Godly reasons, I just like the Synthpop done a cappella style)
So the bottom line is that I will not support one group for a morality issue, but I will support a Mormon group who I have moral issues with? Can anyone say: Hypocrite.
This Tetris comedy clip is one of the funnier things I have seen. On Tv, in Japan.
You have to understand our area to appreciate this. This shot of our house was taken Sunday at High Noon the first day before spring. We NEVER have snow around spring, and never on the ground past 10am. The desert sun just melts it all away! We were out in our short-sleeves watching this. By the end of the week we reached 80 degrees. I like how everything turns white and makes it almost look less cluttered.

So cute, taking it’s first ginger steps. We just added a few cool powerpoint lessons! Technology is a big blessing for us. Check out the tendrils of mp3 lessons (And PPTs) starting to sprout there:
